My plan to make Sutton safer, fairer and more affordable
Meet your local Conservative Candidate for the Greater London Assembly of Croydon and Sutton
Your candidate for the GLA: Neil Garratt
Introduction: The entire boroughs of Croydon and Sutton are combined to create one constituency on the London Assembly. It is represented by one assembly member whose role it is to examine the Mayor’s actions and decisions and stand up for the residents they represent in City Hall. Neil Garratt is the Conservative Candidate to represent Croydon and Sutton in the GLA elections, which will now be held next May 2021 at the same time as the Mayoral election.
A bit about Neil: Born in a council estate, Neil has lived in Sutton for nearly twenty years.
So Neil understands the issues facing residents of Croydon and Sutton — because he’s faced them too.
He knows that residents of the outer boroughs like Croydon and Sutton have been ignored and forgotten. Residents pay the same mayoral tax as central London but get much less investment.
That’s why Neil is standing to represent Croydon and Sutton in the GLA. He’ll work with every resident in every community to secure more investment, cut crime, and lower the cost of living.
For the last four years, I’ve been an Assembly Member in City Hall. And I’ve seen how our politics is failing Londoners. It’s time for fresh new leadership. That’s why I’m standing for Mayor.
Chip in for a safer, fairer and more affordable London
