My plan to make Enfield safer, fairer and more affordable
Cut gang crime and car crime. With 8,000 more police for London and more investment in youth services to get young people out of gangs and into work.
Protect Enfield’s green spaces like Metropolitan Open Land. So families always have a green spaces to enjoy.
Appropriate housing developments. That means family homes instead of tower blocks in Southgate, making sure residents are properly consulted, and keeping developments in line with the local area.
No building on station carparks, including Cockfosters. Residents need spaces to park their cars when getting the tube. I’ll protect them.
No LTNs without approval. LTNs were forced on London without residents ever getting a say. I’ll suspend LTNs — and only introduce them if a clear majority of residents support it.
Meet your local Conservative Candidate for the Greater London Assembly of Enfield and Haringey
Your candidate for the GLA: Lee David-Sanders
Introduction: The entire boroughs of Enfield and Haringey are combined to create one constituency on the London Assembly. It is represented by one assembly member whose role it is to examine the Mayor’s actions and decisions and stand up for the residents they represent in City Hall. Lee David-Sanders is the Conservative Candidate to represent Enfield and Haringey in the GLA elections, which will now be held next May 2021 at the same time as the Mayoral election.
A bit about Lee: Born in Chase Farm hospital, Lee has lived in Enfield for most of his life. So Lee understands the issues facing residents — because he’s faced them too.
Rising crime. Green spaces under threat. A lack of investment in our transport network.
Residents deserve better. That’s why Lee is standing to represent Enfield and Haringey in the GLA. Lee will work with every resident in every community to cut crime, protect green spaces, secure investment in our transport network and oppose the extension of ULEZ.
I’ve helped young people get out of crime and I’ve helped the Prime Minister deliver the National Citizen Service. As Mayor, I’ll use that experience to help Londoners build a better city.
Chip in for a safer, fairer and more affordable London
