My plan to make Havering safer, fairer and more affordable

  1. Cut knife and gang crime. With 8,000 more police for London and more investment in youth services to get young people out of gangs and into work.
  2. Reopen Woodford police station and save Upminster police station. Sadiq Khan closed Woodford and plans to close Upminster. I’ll scrap those plans and make sure both are open. So residents can always speak to police when they need to.
  3. Reverse Sadiq Khan’s congestion charge hike on day one. So residents don’t have to pay £15 a day just to drive to work.Lowering the cost of living for every resident in every community.
  4. New flyover for Gallows Corner roundabout. Sadiq Khan said the status quo cannot continue — but has failed to do anything about it. I’ll deliver a new flyover to cut congestion.

Meet your local Conservative Candidate for the Greater London Assembly of Havering and Redbridge

Your candidate for the GLA: Keith Prince

Introduction:  The entire boroughs of Havering and Redbridge are combined to create one constituency on the London Assembly. It is represented by one assembly member whose role it is to examine the Mayor’s actions and decisions and stand up for the residents they represent in City Hall. Keith Prince is the current Assembly Member for Havering and Redbridge and will be the Conservative candidate again in the GLA elections, which will now be held next May 2021 at the same time as the Mayoral election.

A bit about Keith: For the last thirty years, Keith has been a key part of local communities in Havering and Redbridge.

He’s worked with youth groups to help young people get out of crime. He’s worked with homeless charities to help homeless people off the streets. He’s worked with local businesses to provide jobs and training to residents.

And for the past four years, he’s represented Havering and Redbridge in the GLA, working to hold Sadiq Khan to account.

He’s standing for the GLA again to build on the work he’s done with residents — to cut crime, help the homeless and provide more jobs.
