Hammersmith and Fulham

Don’t just read about it, be part of it. Keep me updated

My plan to make Hammersmith and Fulham safer, fairer and more affordable

  1. Cut gang crime and car crime. With 8,000 more police for London and more investment in youth services to get young people out of gangs and into work.
  2. Reopen Fulham police station. So residents can always speak to police when they need to.
  3. Deliver a temporary bridge while Hammersmith Bridge is fixed. I worked with the government to secure funding for repairs. Now I’m keeping the pressure on for a temporary bridge. If Sadiq Khan hasn’t set one up by May, I’ll make it my priority to deliver one.
  4. Appropriate housing developments. That means family homes instead of tower blocks, making sure residents are properly consulted, and keeping developments in line with the local area.
  5. No Heathrow expansion. Residents deserve clean air and as little noise pollution as possible. So I’ll oppose any plans to expand Heathrow.
  6. Reverse the congestion charge hike. On day one, I’ll scrap Sadiq Khan’s congestion charge hike. So you don’t have to pay £15 just to drive to work — helping to lower the cost of living for residents.

Meet your local Conservative Candidate for the Greater London Assembly of West Central

Your candidate for the GLA: Tony Devenish

Introduction:  The City of Westminster, the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea are combined to create one constituency on the London Assembly. It is represented by one assembly member whose role it is to examine the Mayor’s actions and decisions and stand up for the residents they represent in City Hall. Tony Devenish is the current Assembly Member for West Central and will be the Conservative candidate again in the GLA elections, which will now be held next May 2021 at the same time as the Mayoral election.

A bit about Tony: For the last four years, Tony has been the GLA Member for West Central London. And he’s worked with every resident in every community to campaign on the issues that matter.

Investment in our transport network. More police on our streets. And an end to overdevelopment.

Tony wants to build on the work he’s done with residents. That’s why he’s standing again for the GLA.

Together with residents, Tony will cut crime, secure more investment for transport and make sure new developments work for the people who live in West Central.
